Cherokee Nation Youth Choir and Cherokee Color Guard Kickoff the Championship games of the 7th Annual Cherokee Nation Classic

The Cherokee National Youth Choir sang the national anthem at our Warner Eagle Cherokee Classic basketball tourney Monday night. This choir consists of youth of Cherokee descent who sing gospel music in the Cherokee language as well as other traditional Cherokee songs. The directors are Mary Kay Henderson and Kandise Byrd-Boney. The choir travels all over the nation singing and celebrating Cherokee Culture. There are two Warner students that are members of the choir; Kynlee Wren is a Warner ninth grader and Addison Hummingbird is a senior at WHS. Warner appreciates your attendance!
